Seniors

Tai chi is well-known as an exercise that can be done for the rest of your life. It is easy on the joints, doesn’t cause strain, but helps build and maintain muscle. This is vital for seniors because we tend to lose muscle as we age. Tai chi also promotes balance—again very important for us in our senior years.

Kids and Students

Children and students have growing bodies, expanding minds and their own unique challenges. Sometimes kids don’t know what to do with their frustrations. Older students face an increasingly complex world on top of the rigors of school. All young people can benefit tremendously from this practice. Taking time and establishing a habit of balance at an early age can set the stage for the rest of their lives.

Everyone

Who doesn’t need more vitality, clarity and balance? Life asks more and more of us as our world grows more complex. We may even feel like “we’re handling it,” until we realize we simply are not. There is a reason Tai Chi has been around for thousands of years. It offers a system that creates harmony between opposites—a skillset that we can carry into every aspect of our lives: family, school, work, even relaxation.
