Is this course suitable for beginners?
Yes. And if you have experience with Tai Chi, Qigong, dance, yoga—any form of movement—this training is for you too!
If I have pain in my legs, can I still join this course?
Yes. These are simple and comfortable movements. You may even sit on a chair and follow the upper body movements.
Is Jing Tai Chi suitable for children?
Absolutely! Studies show that the Tai Chi practice improves concentration for children (and adults!)
After Flow I, will there be further classes?
Yes. After Flow I, Teacher Jing will continue with Flow II and Flow III.
Each course will be 8 weeks.
Will I have access to replays?
Yes. Replays will be available automatically the day after each class.
Do I need a background in taichi, qigong, or some form of martial arts to learn Jing Tai Chi?
Not at all. No experience necessary to begin to experience the benefits of Jing Tai Chi.
Do I need to buy any special equipment or supplies to practice Jing Tai Chi?
Nope. Just come as you are.
What should I wear to practice Jing Tai Chi?
You can wear whatever you want, but in general, loose comfy clothing is best as you will be moving!
Do I need to ask my doctor if I can do this practice?
This practice is generally fine for most people, but it’s always a good idea to talk to your doctor before beginning any new exercise program and we do recommend that. Let your doctor know that these movements can also be practiced sitting in a chair.
What if I have back pain?
In general, these movements are fine for most people. You can modify the movements for your own unique needs. Do smaller movements, smaller turns, do fewer repetitions, or sit down and rest. Always monitor yourself through the practice and never do anything that feels like a strain or beyond your limits. If you have any questions, please talk to your doctor. You can also contact us if you have questions about a particular movement.
What is your policy on refunds?
If you are unhappy for any reason, please contact us and tell us more. We issue full refunds within 14 days from the start date, the first class, of our 8-week series.
Can I do Jing Tai Chi if I am sick?
The practice may be very beneficial for you if you have a simple cold or a chronic illness. Of course, you have to honor your limits. If you are very ill, you can watch the class and imagine yourself doing the movements to balance and restore your energy. This is a very powerful practice. The many health benefits of tai chi are well-known, and well-studied.
Can I do Jing Tai Chi if I am pregnant?
Please talk to your doctor to be sure that an exercise program is for you while pregnant. In general, the practice is very safe and excellent for pregnant women.
